So while I was storyboarding Hellboy (I remember that it was the Abe Underwater sequence), Ty Ellingson and I both got a call from Scott Allie asking us if we wanted to contribute work to Weird Tales. Of course I thought it'd just be a pinup, but when asked if I wanted to do a story, I jumped.
