It's the opening scene of the film, and it was the very first sequence I boarded when I started on Monster House. Day 1. I had the most fun coming up with a route for Eliza, and playing with how the camera would follow her. It was something we stuck with pretty much through to the finished film. I'm constantly amazed, as well, as to how many leaves I drew in the backgrounds.....
